Democrats want a CEASEFIRE in Gaza!

  • 13 State Democratic Parties have called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Breaking News:

13 State Democratic parties, more than 155 U.S. cities and more than a dozen counties, as well as more than two dozen local Democratic Party organizations have now passed CEASEFIRE resolutions calling for an end to the violence in Gaza.

~ The State Legislature of Hawaii has also called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza (passed by both the Hawaii State House and the Hawaii State Senate), as has the Delaware State House. ~

This site is dedicated to keeping track of calls for a CEASEFIRE across the U.S., coming from State Democratic Parties, local Democratic Party groups (i.e. legislative districts or county parties), and local governments (i.e. city and county councils).

It is our hope that this site can be used as a means to educate the public about why calling for a CEASEFIRE is critically important, to keep track of the CEASEFIRE NOW! movement as it continues to grow and spread, to document the various Democratic groups and elected officials who use the passage of CEASEFIRE resolutions to align their organizations and institutions with the values of their voting base (since polling shows that Democratic voters overwhelmingly support a CEASEFIRE NOW), and to help other organizations figure out how to take pro-CEASEFIRE stances of their own in a public way.
